My first attempt at creating "Jazz" music. I'm honestly not a fan of using a label to describe my music, but this is no doubt me dabbling in the art known to many as Jazz. I wanted a stripped down trio (Drumset, Upright Bass and Piano) to be the core of the compositions with other instruments filling in when needed. I wanted to emulate, in some sections, the illusion of 3 musicians that have never played together or even spoken, sitting down at their respective instruments and them just starting to play and interact with each other.
